Christmas 2011

Ever since I have been home Jaws has been playing repetitively, as well as How to Train Your Dragon, but I did get to see Doctor Who. I am not a big fan of Jaws because I get scared to easily. I love How to Train Your Dragon. Toothless is so cute, and the animation is amazing. I love Doctor Who but I don't see it often, and it was great to watch a few episodes.
The drive back home was so tiring seeing as I did work a full shift on Sunday.
My friends have been dragging me everywhere. I got to see my best friend the Monday I was back, and we went to get food, and then played some pool, and I won the round against her. We were playing with the jukebox that was in the building as well. Then the other member of the Brat Pack showed up, and we played more pool. My cousin was over the next day, and I got her into World of Warcraft. The next day I got to see my other best friend, and she stayed the night, and we both leveled on World of Warcraft as Death Knights. The next day we went to the city, and I got an awesome panda hoodie (she has a yet hoodie, and we will be taking photos together here soon).
We also went, and did my friend's birthday with her Mom. She made a pyramid cake with a slab cake, and it was amazing.

So Christmas Eve I spent with my Mom, and Dad, and we did the tradition of ordering Chinese Food, and screwed up the order. I watched Sailor Moon S: Hearts on Ice with my Mom. Later I went to my good friend's place who is also a former co-worker/boss, and we did a Brazilian Christmas. I met a bunch of new people who were all very nice. It was quite the enjoyable time.

Today I got to see my Aunt who came down. I love getting to see her. We went through the box of photos I dug out of the closet last time I was home. We went to Christmas supper at my last surviving Grandmother's house like we have for the last few years. It was great to see her as well. She even saved me a tray of treats because she knew I was going to be getting home later than when she gave them out.

Concentrating On The Good and The Bad

It has been quite the week.
I got home from work Monday, turned on my computer, and the first thing I read made me cry. My good friend's house was flooded, so bad they had to be evacuated by boat. She had so much going for her too, and it just crashed to the ground in an instant. :(
I celebrated my friend's birthday a few days early on Friday. We did Karaoke, and it was so much fun, I love karaoke.
I hung out with a friend yesterday, and we watched Disney.
My neck has been sore for the last few days, and it is driving me nuts.
Now I am off to wrap Christmas Presents.

Winter Semester Starts Soon

The Christmas Break is done tomorrow since it will be my last day off.
I checked my student email and found emails from my Japanese teacher, and since there are so many people in the Introductory Japanese II class A she is requesting that some people switch into class B, and I can't do that because I like having friends in the class that I know.
I was going through my textbooks because there is a used textbook sale, and I can sell all my books except for the Japanese ones. That's roughly 450$ worth of books. My cat kitten Mochi chewed on Still Blaming Children by: Bernard Schissel, and I didn't like the book, apparently neither did Mochi.
This semester I have:
Introductory Japanese II
Business Studies and Tutorial to Commerce Lab
Introduction to Principles of Literary Analysis
The Making of Modern Asia
Principles of Macroeconomics and Tutorial Macroeconomics Lab
I have to work really hard this semester to redeem myself. I will keep up with my readings, and go to all of my labs. I will not do what I did last semester which was stupid, and reckless. I will study for my midterms as well, even though I did really good on the Sacred Space Holy Land Midterm, and I winged it.

Ah~
Done exams. It is so nice to not have to worry about any assignments over Christmas break.
The Sociology exam was three hundred multiple choice, and it took me two hours, and a half to finish. It really bothered my head. @.@
After the Professor asked me if I was friends or related to someone that is my friend. I have been going to school with her daughter since Kindergarten but then again I wasn't in French Immersion. She failed me on my last task. I didn't like that class, and it wasn't taught very well. The exam seemed nonsensical.
I do not know the exam marks yet, and I will not know until Tuesday. I want to know now. They should be marked quickly because they used the multiple choice bubble sheets that can be scanned, and the short answer questions on the exam were not that long.
