A Two Days Off, and Out

I have had an amazing two days off. I took a leap, and landed on my feet for once. :)
I was originally going to cancel my plans on Friday because I did not want to drag myself out of bed, haha. After I did though I was ready in no time.
The city's transit was my mode of transportation, and while waited I dropped my phone, and it almost bounced onto the road. I decided part of my plan was to travel to the north side across the bridge later so I gave myself some time. I managed to stop at the art shop, and I found a non-photo blue pencil for myself, and a black paged sketchbook for one of my friends. Ventured for Bubble Tea. ♥ It has been too freaking long for that stuff, though I do miss the variety of flavours that can be purchased in Halifax
I got on the bus, and good thing although the wrong bus; good thing I did because it poured rain! I didn't have an umbrella, or my raincoat. When I got back to the normal bus stop I had to wait for the right bus. I did eventually make it to the other side of the city. I got to my friend's work just as she left. Really sad luck correct? She called me, and kidnapped me for the night. We had barbeque, and ate by the river. It was lovely outside. It was just like old times, though my memories were specifically floating to last summer around my nineteenth birthday. *sigh*
We got up the next day to go to the market but we didn't quite make it, and that is perfectly okay with me. They had a flat tire in the truck. We did make it to town, and went out for lunch.
I then ventured to the college I will be attending in the fall. Might I add that I am super excited for school. I have seen all of the school, and I am possibly going to take a night class for the summer, I just have to decide. I hate making important decisions like that but it must be done!

A Very Uneventful Weekend Home

I went home Thursday night, the bus was pretty much empty to my liking. :)
I must say the temperature plummeted after Thursday night though. :(
I always stop at McDonald's first, and watching my former co-workers sometimes is so funny. It was nice to see some people though. I had a lovely fight with Mochi, my one year old cat who did not want to get out of my room. He was fighting back, I couldn't even pick him up to get him out the door so I pushed him along. Mochi really likes bags, and will lick the inside of Wal-Mart ones.... Weird cat.
I went to do Income Taxes Friday morning, and I forgot my papers in my room, so we had to turn around, and go get them, we were late but it was better than us getting to H&R Block, and remembering then. I went into McDonald's again, and I seen my old boss... And he hasn't changed. I met up with a friend that night, and met up with more later. We did Karaoke, our Friday night tradition.
I was going to go out Saturday night but I decided not to, and watched Jurassic Park 3. I never went to the Market, even though I had planned on it. I never go anymore.
I am back on Animaritime staff.
I got the bus driver on the way back I don't particularly like.
I went into work tonight, and my schedule was not in the book, and that was just stressful. They gave me the manager's schedule to copy it down from after looking for it. I just wish it had of been ready for before I left Thursday night. I also went in, and found a new hat because mine has disappeared.
Sunday I helped my Father grocery shop for my mother. Ugh, hate doing that.

It's Snowing Again!

I occasionally do rash things, and they are usually bad. I got a call from Chapters tonight, half of my order came in... I really actually want the Mortal Instruments book more than Sakura Hime but that is okay. I checked the weather, and it said light rain so I just threw on a hoodie, and ran out the door. I didn't even get to the end of the street, and it started to snow. I also ended up throwing my phone in the ditch. So talented right? This was at night when I had already been at the mall for something to do earlier during the day.
I love my Dad, I call him too much possibly. He was playing Pokémon when I called. ♥
I am trying to finally finish playing Phoenix Wright series, this might take a while. I still also have to get further in Pokémon Black. I started watching Kaleido Star, and I am absolutely in love with it.
Will this gaping void ever heal? I still care for my first ex-boyfriend. I would do anything to have him back but he won't take me back.... Ugh.

Those Puddles are Awfully Deceiving

I didn't getup early enough to go to the market. Maybe I will go next week if I don't work. I stayed up late reading The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Angel by: Cassandra Clare. I love her books I cannot wait for the next addition of the Mortal Instruments: City of Fallen Angels in April, and the next addition of The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Prince later in the year.
So ever since I changed my number people are always calling it. I find it kind of funny, it hasn't been annoying at all.
So today I walked into the other part of town, and I finished my Yoshi collection. :) I went to the big mall, and Teriyaki Experience is closed. :( I am sad, their food was amazing, and healthy.
There are now puddles on the streets, and I stepped in one that was a little bit deeper than I thought, and I wasn't wearing waterproof boots either. The sidewalks have a slight layer of snow, and are not as bad as they were yesterday. It has been snowing all day, but it was nice to walk in minus the cold.
I am addicted to Britney Spears new song, I don't remember the last time she released a song, or anything like that.
Hopefully Orientation isn't canceled again tomorrow, I was not very impressed.
Other than that my day consisted of doing laundry, boring mostly, and playing WoW to pass the timeé

Christmas Doesn't Feel Like Christmas This Year

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Christmas isn't what it quite used to be... It really doesn't feel like Christmas this year....
As a child I remember going to the neighbour's with my Grandmother when she was delivering presents, and we used to have such nice neighbours. My Grandfather would order Chinese, and we would have it together on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day we would have supper at both of my Grandparent's house sometimes, and other times just one. I would get to see all my Uncle's, and Aunt's, my Mother's siblings too. My other Aunt, my Dad's Sister still comes down to see us.
It all fell apart though after my parents separated, and one of Grandfather's passed away, and my other Grandmother was placed in a Nursing Home. This all happened relatively around the same time too.
It hasn't snowed much, it has mostly been raining....
I love tradition, it's repetitive, yet beautiful, and keeps people together...
