Sailor Moon Items

The Sailor Moon Henshin Broaches.
I have got to say my favourites are the first transformation broach, but more so the manga one because it is fancier. I love the Crystal Star Broach as well. The Cosmic Heart is another favourite. I love the transformation for this one so much. The Moon Crisis Broach
My favourite weapons are the Crescent Moon wand, it has always been one of my favourite. I love the Moon Cutie Rod because I own the toy, and I love the attack Moon Princess Halation. I also like the Moon Kaleidoscope because that attack is beautiful as well. The Tiare, and Spiral Heart Moon Rod also have pretty attacks. The transformation pen is quite cute, and I like the purpose of it.
Between the two chalices I like the first one better. I have not seen a lot of the second one at all.

Eventful

The rest of that order finally came in so now I have City of Fallen Angels which I am now reading. I am also reading/watching Pandora Hearts, watching Kaleido Star, and Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon. Pandora Hearts was an adventure to find the first volume of the manga in Chapters. If ever something is hidden that I am looking for in a store I shall find it, in this case that one volume.
Work has been work, very busy, and what not. We had corporation come in Friday so for the last two weeks we have been cleaning like crazy. It has been fun though. We actually get advanced notice about these visits unlike the other store I worked at where we got the notice two days before. It was amazing though. I worked on Saturday which I hardly ever do.
I am going home this weekend, and I am supper excited. I get to do income tax, and all that lovely jazz. See friends, hang out with friends, do things that I miss, go places, ecetera. I have to work all week before I go home though, but it is going to be worth it.
I got to just hang around with my roommates one day after work, and it was so much fun, we had so much fun. We had a rather unpleasant experience with the downstairs tenant. Someone dropped an iPod on the floor, around eight-thirty in the morning, and the tenant came upstairs banged on a window, and proceeded to enter the house because no one answered the door. Me being me, I was terrified, and did not move an inch. This tenant will be out when the lease is up. After this we all went to Tim Horton's, and talked about it. The landlord is such a big help. Our door doesn't close properly so we can lock it but it might not be closed so we have a bolt now.
I am also working on beating the Phoenix Wright game series, it has been a while since I intially started playing it but I need to beat it.

Sailor Moon Episodes 1-6

I am still not far into the Japanese version of Sailor Moon, and I am going to watch the English version as well. I am going to mention a little bit of comparative information to what I have seen so far.
I am really disappointed in the omitting of episode 2, 5, and 6 so far. I mean in episode 2 when Gurio Umino flips Haruna-sensei's skirt, and they show her panties they could have cut that out for America. Episode 5 was really good too, I mean yes Shingo kicks Luna, but they could have omitted that one clip as well. Episode 6, I literally seen nothing wrong with it so I have no clue why it was omitted. I also noticed there is an attack called Moon Tiara Stardust which was in episode 5.
The youma, or monsters as we know in English do have names but I have only ever heard Morga's name mentioned, and the six greater ones from the rainbow crystals which is later on in the series. Most of the other youma mentioned so far do not exist in the English version because their episodes were omitted. I cannot believe they actually left some names along but apparently Usagi's parents Ikuko, and Kenji aren't important enough to have names in the English Version. I cannot believe they actually left Tuxedo Kamen's name alone in English because Kamen means mask. Surprised they didn't come up with something more crazy.
By episode six in Japan Sailor Mercury has not shown up yet, and in the English due to the omitting of three episodes Sailor Mercury has joined the group. America why did you do this.... Some of this actually contains important plot information.
After watching six episodes at least, possibly more I will post another update of differences.

  • Moon Healing Escalation > Moon Healing Activation

Re-Watching a Childhood Favourite

I have been watching the original Sailor Moon, and I am so disappointed in what America did to the dubbed version....
Within the first six episodes we lost three, and that is just really sad. The theme song was changed from beautiful to more like a superhero theme song.
Some of the original Japanese music was removed. Though I do like the English music for some reason, but sometimes the Japanese music was better.
I watched the movies, and I know I didn't see the Super S one but I do not remember the S, and R ones which I did watch since they were aired on a Canadian channel. I watched them in Japanese, so they must of butchered the movies as well.
It is really sad, but this show should have been aired for it's original audience of young teens/adults.
We got 89 (excuse me I mean 120, here's advice: don't trust wiki) out of 200 episodes, because they completely omitted Sailor Moon S, and Super S. It is a really sad realization that we lost out to so much.
There are parts of the dub I do love but I am glad to finally be watching the original series at last.
